Kick-off of pre.STARTUPS 2026 with AAU and CU Carinthia University

On October 15, 2026, the starting signal for the pre.STARTUPS 2026 program was given at the inspire! lab in Lakesidepark Klagenfurt. At the joint kick-off event, the pre-startup teams from the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt (AAU) and CU Carinthia University came together for the first time to get to know each other, exchange experiences, and make contacts for their future startup journey.

Also present were representatives from the Carinthian Business Promotion Fund (KWF), the build! Startup Center, and the project teams of pre.STARTUPS 2026. The focus was on getting to know each other and introducing the participating institutions, their contacts, and the involved teams. The participants gained insights into the available support services and were able to make their first connections within the pre.STARTUPS network.

This joint kickoff event lays an important foundation for the coming months. Through networking, mutual inspiration and the exchange of different perspectives, it creates an environment where innovative ideas can be further developed and the first steps toward starting a business can be taken.
