The CU Research Team serves as the central unit responsible for the operational management of the university’s R&D activities. It brings together the coordination, support, and administrative services that facilitate and strengthen research at CU Carinthia University.
The goal of CU Research is to provide targeted support to researchers at CU Carinthia University and continuously strengthen the university’s research and development capabilities. Our centralized support services are continuously refined and adapted to the needs of researchers and the growing requirements of research funding programs.
CU Research provides expert support at every stage of a research project–from developing initial ideas and preparing grant applications to project implementation and science communication.
- Advice on funding programs and opportunities
- Project coordination for projects led by CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences
- Point of contact for funding agencies
- Dedicated support for first-time applicants and early-career researchers
- (Co-)development of project ideas
- Clarification of funding requirements and guidelines
- General budget preparation
- Support with specific budget-related questions, eligible costs, and funding options
Researchers at CU Carinthia University receive support from CU Research throughout project implementation. Researchers can focus on the scientific content, while our R&D project support experts take care of administrative tasks, including:
- Monitoring performance and progress in R&D projects, groups, and centers
- Project accounting and financial reporting
- Support with budgeting and annual financial reporting
- Center administration and overall coordination, as required
- Administrative support for project managers
