CU4Health

Health promotion at CU Carinthia University means more than simply stringing together individual measures. It involves the conscious, systematic and strategic design, management, and further development of all university-related processes with the goal of sustainably promoting and maintaining the biopsychosocial health, work and learning capacity, and performance of students, faculty and staff.

The focus is on developing a study, teaching and work environment at the university that promotes health. Health in the University Setting

Health in a university setting means more than the absence of illness – it encompasses the interplay of physical, mental and social resources needed to cope with the diverse demands of everyday student life and work. A health-promoting university creates the necessary conditions for this: scope for action, respectful collaboration and transparent structures that support the development of both staff and students.

A key goal of health promotion at CU Carinthia University is to create an environment in which people can realize their full potential – through clear goal-orientation, participation and shared values. Health is understood as an ongoing, reflective process that strengthens both individual and organizational resources.
