The Business & Career Service at CU Carinthia University supports students and graduates in their transition from college to the workforce. Through individual counseling, workshops, career events and the placement of internships and jobs, it promotes personal and professional development.
In addition, it serves as an interface between the university and businesses, thereby contributing to the successful networking of students, alumni, and employers. CU Carinthia University relies on a comprehensive partner network with over 300 key partnerships, around 100 regional “Study & Work” corporate partners, and 20 premium partners.

Students can immediately put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain professional experience at Carinthia’s leading companies. Student applications are accepted every year from October 1 through October 20.

Job Fair
Meet & Match is a cross-industry career fair featuring approximately 100 exhibiting companies each year.
Our goal
To connect regional and international companies with potential future employees. Other useful benefits: photo shoots, counseling sessions, breakfast for students, a student lounge, etc.
for the Application
As part of the career events, job application photo shoots are offered during the winter semester. In the summer, this service is available as part of the Meet & Match job fair.

Meet & Match Job Fair
The CU Carinthia University Job Fair will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2027, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Villach campus.
What we offer our exhibitors:
- Over 800 fair attendees (students, graduates, high school seniors, external job seekers, etc.)
- Meet & Talks: On the day of the fair, job seekers and recruiters will meet to discuss job openings, internships and thesis topics.
- Meet & Greet: A free career breakfast will be served to all fair visitors starting at 9:00 a.m.
- Parking on campus and free admission.
