Jasmin Lerchbaumer, Occupational Therapy Graduate

When I decided to pursue a degree in occupational therapy, I quickly realized that a varied and multifaceted academic life awaited me. I was particularly excited by the regular alternation between theory and practice, which not only makes the program enjoyable but also enables hands-on learning in my future role as an occupational therapist. The opportunities to tailor the program to my interests – such as choosing specific internship placements, participating in exciting projects, and going on field trips – helped me grow both professionally and personally. Thanks to the program’s versatility and the numerous insights into various fields of work, I was able to gain valuable experience early on and build professional connections – which means nothing stands in the way of a strong start in the world of healthcare professions. Personally, I would choose to complete this program at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences again in a heartbeat.
