Occupational Therapy: More Than I Expected
Manuela Essl-Redecsy, BSc, Occupational Therapy Graduate
When I decided to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy, I knew only a fraction of what occupational therapists actually do. During my studies, however, the breadth of this profession’s scope of practice in the healthcare sector became increasingly clear to me. Thanks to the strong emphasis on applying theory to practice and the opportunity to participate in healthcare projects even while I was still a student – I was able to get off to a successful start in my career immediately after graduation.
