Thomas Lerchbaumer made a conscious decision to combine his professional career at Infineon Technologies with a part-time degree program at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. After completing his vocational training at HTL Mössingerstraße, he wanted to deepen his technical knowledge in a targeted manner without sacrificing the valuable hands-on experience he was gaining at the company.

Through his bachelor’s degree in Telematics/Network Technology and subsequent master’s degree in Communication Engineering, he continuously expanded his expertise in modern communication and network technologies. He particularly appreciated the opportunity to apply what he learned directly in his day-to-day work and to immediately incorporate new insights into his projects.

Today, Thomas Lerchbaumer works in the Windows Client Management division at Infineon Technologies. His conclusion: The combination of professional experience and academic continuing education creates the best conditions for continuous professional and personal development.
