Embedded & Electronic Systems (EES)

Developing Intelligent Electronic Systems

The Embedded & Electronic Systems (EES) track combines electronics, embedded systems, sensor technology, digital signal processing, industrial automation, and artificial intelligence. The focus is on developing complete technical systems—from hardware and embedded software to intelligent applications.

You’ll learn to design electronic circuits, integrate sensors and microcontrollers, implement FPGA solutions, and connect hardware with software. In addition, you’ll explore high-performance electronics, high-speed systems, industrial automation solutions, and AI applications in embedded systems.
The program is practice- and project-oriented: You’ll work on lab, development, and research projects, as well as on prototypes and real-world industrial challenges. A research internship provides additional hands-on experience in research and development.

Graduates work as embedded systems engineers, hardware design engineers, embedded software engineers, automation engineers, or R&D engineers, among other roles. Typical industries include the electronics and semiconductor industries, the automotive sector, automation technology, medical technology, Industry 4.0, communications technology, and research and development.

Embedded & Electronic Systems is the specialization for anyone who wants to develop intelligent electronic systems—from embedded hardware and sensor technology to AI-supported technical applications.

More information will be available at the ONLINE Master’s Session on November 23.
