Erasmus Days 2026: Discovering Europe and International Opportunities at CU

On 13 and 14 October 2026, the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences celebrated Erasmus Days 2026 at its Klagenfurt St. Veiter Straße campus and Villach campuses. Through interactive challenges, students explored European languages, cultures and the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.

Studying, completing an internship or attend a short term mobility abroad offers more than just an academic experience. It provides opportunities to discover new cultures, develop language skills and gain international perspectives. This was the focus of Erasmus Days 2026, organised by the CU International Relations Office to encourage students to explore their international mobility opportunities.

Exploring Europe with the CU Erasmus Passport

The highlight of this year's event was the CU Erasmus Passport Challenge, an interactive activity designed to introduce students to Erasmus+ in an engaging way.

Students received their own CU Erasmus Passport and visited four activity stations, collecting a stamp after completing each challenge. Those who completed all four stations received a small prize.

Bringing International Opportunities Closer to Students

Alongside the interactive activities, Erasmus Days provided an opportunity for students to connect with the CU International Relations Office and learn more about international mobility.

The event highlighted the possibilities of Erasmus+ and encouraged students to consider taking part in an international experience during their studies.

With activities taking place at both the Klagenfurt and Villach campuses, Erasmus Days 2026 brought international opportunities directly into everyday campus life, demonstrating how curiosity about other countries, languages and cultures can be the starting point for a future experience abroad.
