Seven Ideas, Nine Months, One Goal: vor.GRÜNDEN-26 Gets Underway

From an automated pill splitter to software for measurement and control devices: seven innovative startup projects are embarking on the new round of the vor.GRÜNDEN-26 funding programme in October. At CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, the teams are now preparing for nine months of intensive development work.

At the end of September, the participants of vor.GRÜNDEN-26 met for the first time at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences | Hochschule Kärnten. During the information event, they presented their projects, exchanged ideas and gained an overview of the months ahead.

Petra Hössl and Sabine Trattler from CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences presented the programme framework and introduced tools designed to support the teams in further developing their startup projects.

Seven Projects, Different Approaches

This year’s projects cover a broad range of fields, from healthcare and mobility to software and technology:

  • Automated Pill Splitter: Development of an automated system for splitting tablets
  • Knotenpunkt: Modular system for expanding and improving existing bus stops
  • SymptomDoc: Digital assistant to support doctors in recording patients’ symptoms
  • Pelvic Floor Health for Women: Development of a sensor-based training system
  • PureLayers: Solutions for psychoacoustic room conditioning
  • TrailTune: Tool for setting up high-quality suspension systems
  • Innometria: Software for coordinating connected measurement and control devices

Over the next nine months, the participants will work on further developing their ideas, testing key assumptions and preparing concrete next steps towards launching their businesses.
