Bachelor's Degree Program
Do you want to design spaces that bring people together, are built sustainably, and make a positive contribution to our society? Then the Bachelor’s program in Architecture at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences is the perfect fit for you.
Today, architecture means far more than just designing buildings. There is a demand for creative individuals who can integrate ecological, social, and technical aspects and develop solutions to the challenges of our time–from resource-efficient construction and climate change to the design of livable cities and rural regions.
During the program, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of architecture, building construction, structural engineering, materials science, and design. Project-based courses, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaboration with other disciplines will enable you to apply theoretical knowledge directly and bring your own ideas to life step by step.
There is a particular emphasis on sustainable and socially responsible construction, as well as on the development of livable cities and rural regions. As the only architecture program in Austria with a special focus on rural areas, the program delves deeply into regional development strategies.
Unique in Austria
As the only architecture program in Austria that focuses on rural areas, you'll develop solutions for regional living environments and sustainable construction.
20 weeks of work experience
The mandatory professional internship in the fifth semester provides you with comprehensive practical experience and can also be completed abroad.
Study in person
Small learning groups, intensive support, and studios and workshops create ideal conditions for creative and project-based work.
Are you ready to design living spaces responsibly?
Then create architecture that brings people together and has a lasting impact.
Special features of the program
