Here's what you'll learn during your studies

In the Digital Tax & Accounting bachelor’s program, you’ll combine business expertise with digital skills in the fields of tax and accounting. You’ll prepare for a variety of technical and consulting roles at tax and auditing firms.

Tasks in Tax and Accounting
You’ll work on payroll and financial accounting, tax returns, and annual financial statements. In the process, you’ll gain the technical knowledge needed for key accounting tasks.

Designing
Digital Processes and Transactions You’ll learn to effectively leverage opportunities for digitizing accounting processes and procedures. You’ll also develop and implement concepts for digital transactions with clients and tax authorities and learn to use them strategically.

Serving Clients and Preparing
Consultations: You will develop the technical and communication skills needed to serve demanding clients at tax advisory and auditing firms and to prepare consultations involving complex subject matter.

What opportunities will you have after you graduate?

Once you have successfully completed your bachelor's degree, you can go on to pursue a master's degree at a university of applied sciences or a university. At CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, you can enroll in any master's program in the field of Business & Management.

Here's how the program is organized

The program lasts six semesters and is worth 180 ECTS credits. You’ll study at the Villach campus and can choose between a full-time track and a part-time track.

In the full-time program, classes are held full-day from Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. The modules are divided into two half-semesters, with an exam week in between or at the end of each half-semester. This makes it easier to plan study and exam periods.

The part-time option includes six on-campus weekends. Classes are held on Fridays from 10:10 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Optionally, three additional Saturdays are added in a hybrid format. Interactive online sessions are offered regularly on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays from 5:40 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.
