Alpenresort Schwarz: Study & Get Involved–Where Hospitality Comes Alive

At Alpenresort Schwarz, you’ll combine your studies with hands-on experience at a multi-award-winning family-run business. You’ll rotate through key departments, gradually take on more responsibility, and continue to develop your skills through mentoring, training, and real-world projects as part of a warm and welcoming team.

From the very beginning, you’ll get to know key departments:
Front Office & Reservations, Service & Bar, Kitchen & Pastry, Housekeeping, and–depending on your academic focus–gain insights into the spa, marketing, HR, and controlling. A personalized onboarding plan with clear learning objectives for each rotation, regular feedback sessions, and designated mentors ensure that you settle in smoothly and are able to take on responsibility. You’ll work as part of a team with colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and support your professional and personal growth.

Your professional development is important to us:
on-the-job training, product training, internal workshops, and behind-the-scenes insights provide clarity on processes–from the finer details of guest service to the big picture of hotel operations. Through small projects, you’ll actively contribute to shaping initiatives, learn to set priorities, and find effective solutions.

Our environment combines quality of work and quality of life:
the location with a view of the Alps, a supportive team atmosphere, and modern workspaces create a particularly pleasant work environment. Hostesses benefit from affordable housing in the Schwarz Team House and three free meals a day. Additional benefits include free access to the gym and wellness facilities, as well as health checkups and discounted spa treatments. With the employee club card, hosts also receive discounts on resort services and special rates at various partner businesses.

What we’re looking for:
curiosity, reliability, and a passion for teamwork. If you’d like to be a host, excel in communication, and gain relevant hands-on experience to complement your studies–then you’re a perfect fit for us.

Here’s how to get started:
Send us your resume, a brief cover letter, and your course of study. We’ll work together to determine your areas of responsibility–tailored to your strengths and the requirements of your curriculum. We look forward to getting to know you and shaping the future together.
