Prejudice is nonsense.

Daniel Kaaden, Social Worker, City of Klagenfurt | Part-time instructor at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences

After completing a technical apprenticeship, Daniel Kaaden made a conscious decision to switch to Social Work because he wanted to work more with and for people in his career. Even while pursuing his Master’s Degree, he gained valuable practical experience in residential youth services at Diakonie de La Tour. Today, he works as a Social Worker for the City of Klagenfurt and shares his experiences with future Social Workers as a part-time instructor at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences.

“I wanted a career where people are at the center. Studying Social Work gave me the professional foundation to support people effectively and apply theoretical knowledge directly in practice. Today, I’m delighted to pass on these experiences to future Social Workers.”
