What you will learn during your studies

In the Speech and Language Therapy Bachelor’s Program, you will acquire in-depth medical, therapeutic, and scientific expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of language, speech, voice, and swallowing disorders, as well as hearing impairments. You will learn to provide individualized, evidence-based care to people of all ages.

At the beginning of the program, you’ll explore the medical and linguistic foundations of speech-language therapy. Anatomy, physiology, and linguistics form the foundation for more advanced topics such as audiology, phoniatrics, neurology, and pediatrics. Step by step, you will build on these to develop the skills needed for independent assessment, therapy, and rehabilitation.

The Program is complemented by scientific research as well as interprofessional and social-communication components. This enables you to make well-informed therapeutic decisions, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and continuously develop your professional practice.
