Work Together Across Professions

Speech-language therapists work closely with various healthcare professionals. That's why, even during your Speech and Language Therapy Bachelor's Degree, you'll learn to plan treatments in collaboration with other professionals and provide holistic care to patients.

More Than Just a Training Lab

The SkillsLab is also available to you outside of class. Here, you can independently deepen your understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic methods and conduct empirical research as part of your Bachelor's thesis in Speech and Language Therapy.

Practical experience in many fields of work

During your professional internships, you’ll become familiar with various institutions in the health care, social services, and education sectors. This will allow you to gain experience in a wide range of speech-language therapy practice settings and develop a broad understanding of everyday professional life.

Vaccination Recommendation

To complete the required professional internships in healthcare facilities, full vaccination coverage is required in accordance with the current vaccination recommendation issued by the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection for healthcare personnel. This is to protect patients, fellow students, and staff. Students who cannot provide proof of the recommended vaccinations may not be assigned an internship or may only be assigned a limited number of internship placements, which could result in a longer duration of study. CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences provides support in clarifying individual cases.
