Driven by a personal commitment to Nature Conservation

Mag. iur. Hans-Christoph Vonihr, participant in the Master’s program in Management of Conservation Areas

Anyone who wants to protect our environment sustainably needs not only commitment, but also the necessary expertise.

During the lockdowns, Hans-Christoph Vonihr spent a lot of time in nature and the Alps. This experience showed him the value that intact landscapes and protected areas have for people and the environment—and sparked his interest in the professional management of conservation areas.

Through the Master’s program in Management of Conservation Areas, he hopes to gain the expertise he needs to advocate for nature conservation in the future and raise awareness of the subject among others. His goal is to combine his legal knowledge with the skills he will develop in the program and work as a consultant in nature conservation and protected area management.
