The Business Management program is designed for anyone who wants to understand economic relationships and actively help shape businesses. An interest in economic and legal topics, an openness to modern technologies, and a passion for teamwork, initiative, and solution-oriented thinking are all beneficial.
For admission, you need a general high school diploma or an equivalent vocational qualification. After your eligibility is reviewed, you will have a personal admission interview.
Here´s what you´ll learn during your studies
In the Business Management bachelor’s degree program, you’ll receive a comprehensive education in the core areas of business administration. Among other topics, you’ll explore management and leadership, digital marketing, people and culture, accounting, finance and controlling, as well as logistics and manufacturing management.
In the process, you’ll learn to analyze business challenges from various perspectives—from the market’s viewpoint, the employees’ perspective, and through the lens of numbers and data. Your specialized training is complemented by courses in economics, law, and the social sciences, as well as modern digital work methods.
Through project-based courses, project simulations, and collaboration with companies, you’ll apply your knowledge directly in a practical setting. A mandatory professional internship allows you to deepen your knowledge in a real-world work environment, establish your first professional contacts, and prepare specifically for your career entry.

You can also pursue an advanced Master’s degree in business at another university or university of applied sciences.
Here´s how the program is structured
The Business Management program spans six semesters and is worth 180 ECTS credits. The program is held on the Villach campus and leads to the academic degree “Bachelor of Arts in Business.” You can choose between a full-time program and a part-time program that allows you to study while working.
