From the First Cohort to Civil Engineer.

Thomas Freunschlag, Civil Engineer in Structural Engineering – Building Construction

Thomas Freunschlag was part of the first graduating class of the Civil Engineering/Building Construction program at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. Even while still a student, he gained valuable practical experience at an architectural firm and, immediately after graduation, took on the management of a large hotel construction project. After successfully passing the civil engineer examination, he finally fulfilled his dream of becoming self-employed as a civil engineer specializing in civil engineering–building construction.

“The close-knit community during my studies, the hands-on training, and the opportunity to apply what I learned directly in my daily work have had a decisive influence on my career path. Many friendships from that time continue to this day.”
