Overcoming Barriers Through Cultural Understanding
Vladyslava Pidhaina, Graduate of the Intercultural Management Program
For anyone who wants to combine business knowledge with cultural understanding and practical experience, this degree program is a truly valuable choice.
When I was looking for the right degree program, I wanted more than just a business degree. I was looking for a program that combined international perspectives, dynamism, and meaningful human interaction. The Bachelor’s program in Intercultural Management at CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.
I was particularly impressed by the daily collaboration with students from all over the world. It wasn’t just about cultural theories, but about learning through real and diverse perspectives. This environment challenged me to become more open-minded, adaptable, and attuned to how culture influences both communication and decision-making processes.
What made this experience special was the balanced mix of theory and hands-on learning. International projects, language training, and exchange opportunities repeatedly pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. These experiences helped me bridge the gap between theory and practice and prepared me to work across national borders and industries.
Above all, Intercultural Management helped me grow not only as a student but also as a person. The program shaped the way I approach challenges, relationships, and opportunities in a global context.
