Collaboration with the Carinthian Natural Science Association

The new scientific journal Carinthia Nature Tech is being launched as part of a long-term collaboration between the Carinthian Natural Sciences Association and CU Carinthia University.

Through a cooperation agreement, the Carinthian Natural Sciences Association and CU Carinthia University are establishing a long-term partnership. The association publishes the journal Carinthia II, which is one of the oldest scientific journals in the German-speaking world. Carinthia II is being expanded to include an international edition focused on technologies for recording and monitoring biodiversity. The new branch is named Carinthia Nature Tech, will undergo a peer-review process, and will be published in English. It is intended to offer career-relevant publication opportunities, particularly to young scientists.

The cooperation agreement was signed on November 15, 2023, by the president of the Natural Sciences Association, Dr. Helmut Zwander, and the managing director of CU Carinthia University, DI Siegfried Spanz.
