Johannes Lang, BSc, graduate of the master’s program in Communication Engineering 

Carolin Schmied supports innovative medical devices throughout their entire lifecycle–from the initial product concept to the completion of their market launch. As an OEM Manager at the internationally active OSYPKA AG, she supports clients worldwide, develops preclinical study designs, and prepares submission dossiers for medical devices. Strategic thinking, international collaboration, and regular business trips characterize her day-to-day work.

She laid the foundation for this with her diploma program in Medical Information Technology at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, which she completed with distinction. She then deepened her management skills through a part-time degree program in Public Management and today combines technical expertise with business acumen and international project work.

She particularly values interacting with people from different cultures and the opportunity to continually broaden her horizons–both professionally and personally. She finds balance through traveling, mountain biking, jogging, and spending evenings with family and friends.
