From a Career Change to Real Estate Management

Martin Winkler, Graduate of Sustainable Real Estate Management

Martin Winkler knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career in the real estate industry. The combination of real estate economics, sustainable planning, and legal fundamentals made the Sustainable Real Estate Management program the ideal choice for him–especially because of its interdisciplinary focus, which is unique in Austria.

Shortly after starting his studies, he successfully made the transition to an international project developer. Looking back, he confirms that his studies and career have been very well aligned. The part-time study program allowed him to gain valuable practical experience and apply what he learned directly in his day-to-day work.

He particularly remembers the program’s strong practical focus, the faculty members from the real estate industry, and the regular fireside chats with experts from all over Austria. His conclusion: The program not only provides in-depth specialized knowledge in real estate management and sustainable project development but also creates the best possible conditions for entering a future-oriented industry.
