This prepares you for a future-oriented career field where technical progress and the responsible use of resources go hand in hand.
From Sensor to System
You will study sensors, electronic circuits, and embedded systems. Other topics include digital circuit design, signal processing, measurement systems, and semiconductor physics.
Set Your Own Priorities
Through elective modules, you can tailor your degree program to your individual interests and delve deeper into topics that particularly interest you–such as eco-friendly electronics or modern embedded systems.
A Career with a Future
After you graduate, you can pursue a career in technology companies, the energy sector, research projects, or startups, among other options. In these roles, you'll combine electronics with energy efficiency and sustainability.
Are your ideas bursting with energy?
Then bring them to life–in the Green Electronics program!
Special features of the program
Project-Based and Interdisciplinary Learning
In modern labs, you'll apply theoretical concepts to specific tasks. In hands-on projects, you'll conduct your own experiments and put your own ideas into practice.
Two Areas of Study—Your Technical Focus
In the Bachelor's program in Systems Engineering, you can choose between the two tracks: Green Electronics and Green Mechatronics. You'll combine creative ideas with solid technical knowledge and tailor your studies to your specific academic interests.
Work Experience in the 6th Semester
In the sixth semester, you’ll complete a mandatory professional internship. During this internship, you’ll apply the knowledge you’ve acquired in a professional setting, gain practical experience, and prepare specifically for your future career. Through partnerships with companies, you’ll also establish early contacts with the industry and build a professional network.
Gain international experience
A semester abroad at one of over 100 partner universities will open up new academic and personal perspectives for you. You’ll expand your intercultural skills and apply your knowledge in an international academic environment.
