Special features of the program
A study program designed to accommodate work, with good predictability
The program is structured so that you can easily balance your master’s studies with your career and personal life. The curriculum includes six scheduled in-person weekends per semester on campus (full days on Fridays and Saturdays, starting at 8:30 a.m.). Interactive online sessions are held regularly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (starting at 5:40 p.m. each day) and, on occasion, on Fridays (starting at 1:30 p.m.) and Saturdays (starting at 8:30 a.m.).
This creates a reliable format that’s easy to organize, even for students with long commutes or work commitments. You’ll benefit from a study model that effectively combines in-person learning, digital instruction, and predictability.
Practical Relevance Through Case Studies and Corporate Partnerships
A key feature of the program is the case studies that span all four semesters. You’ll support companies through their digital transformation processes and work on real-world problems—from analysis and strategy to implementation. This allows you to develop exactly the skills needed for digital transformation in businesses and government agencies.
Close collaboration with companies both in Germany and abroad strengthens your practical experience and makes it easier to enter the professional world. You’ll establish early connections with potential employers and gain the qualifications needed for a wide range of roles at the intersection of business and technology—such as in digital transformation management, project management, e-business, online marketing, or data-driven management.
An interdisciplinary profile at the intersection of business, data, and technology
The program combines five key fields of the future: Digitalization & Management, E-Business, Digital Marketing, Data Science, and Technology. This allows you to develop a skill set that brings together economic, technological, and data-driven perspectives—and specifically prepares you for the demands of digital organizations.
You’ll learn how digital transformation is changing leadership, business models, processes, communication, and value creation. It is precisely this combination of strategic management, market insight, data literacy, and technological understanding that makes this program a practical alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to focus exclusively on technical or business studies.
