The Bachelor’s program in IT and Multimedia Technology is designed for anyone interested in science and technology who wants to develop creative ideas. Important qualities include logical thinking, a good command of English, curiosity, and the ability to work independently.

Prior knowledge of multimedia technology is not required. Graduates from all types of high schools can begin the program after earning their high school diploma, provided they have the necessary interest and commitment. To help students prepare, CU Carinthia University of Applied Sciences offers intensive courses in mathematics, computer science, and physics. Students who do not have a high school diploma can compensate for this by demonstrating relevant professional qualifications and completing the preparatory course.

In the Bachelor’s program in IT Multimedia Technology, you’ll combine computer science, technology, and creativity. You’ll gain knowledge in audio and video production, 2D and 3D animation, game development, augmented and virtual reality, and software development.

In the process, you’ll learn to develop digital and multimedia applications and apply your knowledge in practical settings.

The bachelor's degree program in IT and Multimedia Technology spans six semesters and is worth 180 ECTS credits. It can be completed on a full-time basis or while working. Upon successful completion, students are awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc).
